About the Design

The Colorado Rockies plays its home baseball games at Coors Field, which is located in the Lower Downtown area of Denver. The Rockies began play as an expansion team for the 1993 season. They took the name "Rockies" due to Denver's proximity to the Rocky Mountains, which is reflected in their logo.
